Founding Member of Maroon 5, Ryan Dusick, on The National Defense

Nate Herron speaks with the founding drummer of Maroon 5, Ryan Dusick, in this segment.  Nate discusses with Ryan his time with the band, how the strain of everyday life took away his ability to play the drums at a high level physically, and how he turned that negative into positive healing.  Dusick has since published a memoir, "Harder to Breathe," and works as a therapist and mental health advocate.  Ryan participated in this week's 4th Annual Global Livestream Show on World Suicide Prevention Day, alongside Promise2Live, a non-profit organization founded by an Army veteran and mother.
