We speak with Michelle Horn, Vice President of Communications for Fisher House to get an update on the incredible benchmark of opening up their 100th Fisher House! Currently, Fisher House has 93 different houses near VA facilities that assist military families with being closer to their family member while seeking treatment.

We welcome back a longtime frined of the show and of anyone that has ever worn the uniform of the United States Military, Gordan Logan, to the program. Gordon and Randy discuss some of the great programs that Sports Clips has taken part in including their "Operation Uplink" program and their "Help a Hero" scholarship fund. Sports Clips has raised over $11 Million so far for veterans and we're so happy to reconnect with one of the original partners of our program.

We welcome Yogi Roth to the show. Yogi is a host and college football analyst for ESPN, Fox and the Pac 12 Network, as well as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. We talk about his new book, "5-STAR QB: It'a not about the stars, It's about the Journey". Randy and Yogi chat about a few stories from the book as well as the inspiration they had to reach out to quarterbacks from all over the country to compile this interesting, multi-faceted book.

We welcome Marcus Lemonis, to the show this week. We discuss his work as the Chief Executive Officer of Camping World and Good Sam’s. We welcome Ben Kesling, who covers veterans and military affairs for the Wall Street Journal. We talk about his new book, “Bravo Company” which details a company of Army Paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne during a 2009 deployment in Afghanistan, the carnage they encountered, and the results afterwards. Randy and Ben discuss the scourge of veteran suicide, and how this special group’s unit reunion really brought about “Operation Resiliency.”

We welcome actress Dee Wallace to The National Defense to talk about her role as Elliot’s mother in the film “E.T.” which came out 40 years ago.
